We look forward to welcoming you to Grandiflora Bed & Breakfast. When you make your reservation, you are entering into an agreement with us. Please read our terms and conditions of booking below. Please note the cancellation policy before making a reservation.

Reservations, Arrival, Departure

For reservations made directly on our website or via phone, a first-night deposit plus taxes are required to secure your reservation and will be charged to the Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express card provided. 

If booking your reservation less than 14 days before your arrival, the entire reservation amount will be charged to your credit card.

The remainder of your balance is due at check-in and can be paid by credit card or cash. Your reservation is not confirmed until your deposit has been successfully processed. An automatic confirmation will be sent by our reservation system to the email you provide. 

Guests arranging late check-in or arriving outside of the normal check-in hours will have the remaining balance charged during regular check-in hours of the scheduled check-in date.

Holiday or special event weekends may include additional night requirements.

Only two guests per room with the Thomas Suite and Jefferson Suite having two rooms, with the exception of the Stancill Suite.

All guest names must be listed on the reservation for your safety in the event of an emergency. 

No Pets Allowed – Although we love animals, we cannot accommodate pets.

Check-In – Check-ins are scheduled from 3 pm to 6 pm.

If you are not sure of your arrival time or will be arriving later than 6 pm, please call to make arrangements. When possible we will provide you with the late check-in information and arrange for someone to show you to your room. 

It is rare that we can accommodate an early check-in, but we will be happy to store your luggage. Please call to make these arrangements in advance.

Check-Out – Check-out is anytime before 11 am.

If you need to leave before breakfast is served, please let us know before 5 pm the night before and we will be happy to prepare a bagged breakfast to take with you. 

It is rare that we can accommodate a late check-out as we need to make preparations for guests arriving later in the day, but we will be happy to store your luggage. 

Please call to make these arrangements in advance or with the innkeeper by 5 pm the night before and we will be happy to do our best to accommodate your needs.

Cancellation Policy

At Grandiflora Bed & Breakfast, we understand that life sometimes catches us off guard and plans can unexpectedly change. We make many preparations, including purchases and scheduling our staff, based on reservations. Cancellations affect us greatly, therefore you must agree to the following cancellation policy at the time of booking:

If your plans change after your reservation is confirmed and you booked directly through our website or via phone, cancellation notice is required 14 days prior to your arrival date.

With this advance notice, we will refund your credit card deposit minus a $25 cancellation fee, per room reserved. The $25 cancellation fee also applies to changes to your arrival/departure date that result in a shorter stay.

Reservations canceled less than 14 days prior to your arrival date will be charged in full, unless your room(s) is re-booked by another party. We will make every effort to re-book your room(s) and will refund any room(s) we are able to re-book minus a $25 cancellation fee per room reserved.

Grandiflora Bed & Breakfast does not take responsibility for changes to your reservation due to inclement weather, unforeseen changes to travel plans, personal sickness or injury, or family emergencies.

No refunds are provided for late arrivals, early departures, no-shows, or weather-related cancellations.

Cancellations MUST be made by phone, not via email.

If your reservation is made through a third party booking service (Booking.com, airbnb.com, etc.), the cancellation policy which is stated online through that third party supersedes the Grandiflora Bed & Breakfast policy and will be enforced according to those terms.

Cancellation by Us

Should it become necessary for us to cancel a booking we will contact you immediately. Any payments made will be refunded in full. Our liability will not extend beyond these conditions.

Payment

Payment is due the day of arrival. We accept cash and the following charge, credit and debit cards; American Express, MasterCard, Debit Mastercard, Visa, Debit Visa, Discover. 

Prices

We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. This does not affect reservations already made.
All room rates are subject to state and local taxes.

Other Policies

Damage, Breakages, and Missing Items

Please take care of our home and properties. Guests are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages caused to the accommodation or its contents. Please report these as soon as they occur especially if you accidentally spill something – it’s much easier to clean if we know what it is and act quickly.

We do not normally charge for breakages, but we reserve the right to charge for repair or making good if the damage is significant.

We reserve the right to charge for missing items.

Keys

You have access to the building and your room 24 hours a day throughout your stay using a set of keys given to you when you register on arrival. You have full responsibility of these keys for the duration of your stay. Lost keys will be charged at $25.00 per set plus any additional costs incurred if any additional work is required, such as, locks needing to be changed.

No Smoking, Vaping, or e-cigarette use

Grandiflora Bed & Breakfast is a NON-SMOKING & NON-VAPING property.

For the health and safety of our guests, smoking (including e-cigarettes) and vaping is not permitted anywhere on the premises, and a minimum $250 cleaning fee is imposed for smoking and vaping inside the house. Additionally, we do not have designated outdoor smoking or vaping areas; we ask that you leave the property. Your complete cooperation is expected.

Any violation of these policies will result in the need to find other accommodations immediately. Refunds will not be considered.

Liability

We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss, or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees while acting in the course of their employment.

Lost Property

We are happy to return items that have been left following departure. However, there will be a minimum charge of $5.00 to cover postage and packaging.

Termination Policy

Grandiflora Bed & Breakfast reserve the right, at its discretion, to terminate, without notice, any guest’s stay where deemed necessary through unacceptable behaviour or as a result of actions which are likely to endanger or offend others. Please note that non-compliance of our non smoking policy will constitute termination.

In such circumstances any outstanding balance must be settled. No refunds will be made.

Your room rate includes:

 

  • a full breakfast served each morning at 8:30
  • use of the spacious indoor and outdoor common areas
  • off-street parking
  • non-alcoholic beverages and snacks
