Welcome to Laurel’s only luxury Bed and Breakfast. Come enjoy a delicious home cooked breakfast as you enjoy 21st century amenities in a circa 1907 grand manor.  

Grandiflora Bed & Breakfast is on the corner of North 5th Avenue and 7th Street in Laurel’s charming historic district. The 9,000 square foot house is across the street from the Lauren Rogers Museum of Art and one block from downtown Laurel with its lovely shops and excellent restaurants.

There are 20+ HGTV Hometown renovated homes within walking distance of Grandiflora. You can experience the Hometown excitement all around us. 

We are within the Tri-Park area with Gardiner Park and Daphne Park walking/running/cycling tracks and children’s play facilities and Euclid’s Park’s vistas. Mason Park is only nine blocks away through the beautiful historic district

The Stancill Suite

Sleeps 1- 2
The Stancill Suite is the master suite of the house. It is furnished with a canopy king bed. There is a large master bath and private balcony overlooking the back gardens.

The Thomas Suite

Sleeps 1-4
The Thomas Suite is furnished with a king size bed and features a separate sitting room with balcony overlooking the front of the house. The sitting room is furnished with a trundle daybed which extends the sleeping arrangements to 4.

The Jefferson Suite

Sleeps 1-4
The Jefferson Suite consists of two rooms with a shared bath between. The 1840 Room has a fireplace, a kitchenette, a full size bed, dresser, and armoire. The Jefferson Room is furnished with a set of twin beds, dresser with mirror, a closet with full length mirror, and a lovely view from the front of the house.

1840 Room

The 1840 Room has a coal grate fireplace, a petite kitchen, a full size antique mahogany half-tester bed with a rare complete bedroom suite. There is an ensuite bathroom. This room is accessible by elevator and the front grand staircase from the marble foyer.

Grandiflora was wonderful and I would highly recommend staying there. The location allowed us to walk everywhere. We were in an historic part of town and the owner Hugh graciously spent an hour with us detailing the history of the town and bed and breakfast. It was fascinating. Alec, the Manager explained all the amenities and gave us recommendations. The breakfast meals were outstanding. Our room was comfortable, had a massive bathroom and even an outside porch . It was the perfect spot for morning coffee and to read.

From the moment we drove up the driveway to this stately home, we knew this was going to be a great experience. The friendliness of the staff and delicious breakfasts served each morning was excellent ! The owner of Grandiflora gave us an hour tour of the home with a detailed history of Laurel. Alec and Shelby were always available to answer all of our questions and to give us suggestions of places to eat and things to be sure not to miss on our stay in Laurel. We definitely would recommend Grandiflora for your visit to Laurel.

A Trip to Remember My friend, Lynda and I traveled to Laurel to celebrate our birthdays. We have stayed at BnB’s over the years in Colorado, Texas, Mississippi and South Carolina and Grandiflora did not disappoint. The home and grounds were gorgeous, accommodations were exquisite and the food was delicious. The staff could not have been more helpful. We enjoyed visiting with other travelers at breakfast. The elevator is a huge plus. Highly recommend!

Thank you for a wonderful visit at Grandiflora. We enjoyed ourselves, and really enjoyed the neighborhood. Over the course of our trip, we stayed in four different bed and breakfasts.
